NeuroCurve Terms of Service

Welcome to NeuroCurve. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the NeuroCurve mobile application, website, services, features, content, subscriptions, and related tools collectively referred to as the “Service.”By using NeuroCurve, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

NeuroCurve is a habit-support and self-improvement app designed to help users track urges, start timers, review progress, and receive supportive coaching-style guidance. NeuroCurve may include features such as timers, progress charts, educational content, community features, and AI-assisted support tools.

NeuroCurve is not a medical device, healthcare provider, therapy service, crisis service, or substitute for professional medical, psychological, legal, or other professional advice.

You must be at least 13 years old to use NeuroCurve. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may only use the Service with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

By using NeuroCurve, you confirm that you are legally able to agree to these Terms.

NeuroCurve is intended for general wellness, habit awareness, self-reflection, and motivation. The Service does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, disorder, addiction, mental health condition, or medical condition.

You should consult a qualified healthcare professional before making decisions related to addiction, substance use, mental health, medication, self-harm, compulsive behavior, or any medical concern.

If you are experiencing a medical emergency, mental health crisis, or thoughts of harming yourself or others, call emergency services immediately or contact a crisis hotline in your area.

You may need to create an account to access certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login information and for all activity under your account.

You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account information updated.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, misuse the Service, or create risk for NeuroCurve, other users, or third parties.

Some features of NeuroCurve may require a paid subscription. Subscription options, pricing, trial availability, renewal terms, and cancellation instructions are displayed at the time of purchase.

Purchases made through the Apple App Store are managed by Apple. Billing, refunds, cancellations, and renewals are subject to Apple’s terms and policies.

You may cancel your subscription through your Apple ID subscription settings. Deleting the app does not automatically cancel your subscription.

NeuroCurve may offer free trials or promotional access from time to time. Trial eligibility, duration, and renewal terms may vary.

Unless cancelled before the end of the trial period, a trial may automatically convert into a paid subscription according to the terms displayed at checkout.

You agree not to:

• Use NeuroCurve for unlawful, harmful, abusive, or fraudulent purposes. 
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service. 
• Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, modify, or exploit the app or its systems. 
• Upload or share content that is illegal, threatening, hateful, harassing, sexually exploitative, or harmful. 
• Use NeuroCurve to provide medical, therapeutic, or crisis advice to others unless you are independently qualified and legally authorized to do so. 
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person or organization. 

If NeuroCurve includes community, social, comments, encouragement, following, or profile features, you are responsible for the content you post or share.

We may remove content or restrict accounts that violate these Terms, community standards, platform rules, or applicable law.

We do not endorse user-generated content and are not responsible for content posted by users.

NeuroCurve may include AI-assisted coaching or educational features. These features are for informational and motivational purposes only.

AI-generated responses may be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate for your specific situation. You should not rely on AI responses as medical, mental health, legal, financial, or professional advice.

You are responsible for your decisions and actions based on your use of the Service.

You retain ownership of content you submit to NeuroCurve, such as habit labels, notes, posts, comments, or other information you provide.

By submitting content, you grant NeuroCurve a limited license to use, store, process, display, and transmit that content as necessary to operate and improve the Service.

You represent that you have the right to submit any content you provide and that your content does not violate the rights of others.

Your use of NeuroCurve is also governed by our Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information.

By using NeuroCurve, you agree that we may handle your information as described in the Privacy Policy.

NeuroCurve, including its name, logo, design, software, text, graphics, features, branding, and content, is owned by NeuroCurve or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, modify, or create derivative works from NeuroCurve without written permission.

NeuroCurve may use third-party services for payments, analytics, authentication, hosting, artificial intelligence features, app distribution, or other functionality.

Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies. NeuroCurve is not responsible for third-party services.

If you download NeuroCurve through the Apple App Store, you also agree to Apple’s applicable terms and conditions.

Apple is not responsible for NeuroCurve, its content, support, claims, or maintenance, except as required by applicable law.

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of NeuroCurve at any time. We may also add or remove features, change subscription options, or update access requirements.

We are not liable for changes, interruptions, or discontinuation of the Service.

You may stop using NeuroCurve at any time.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, misuse the Service, create risk, or if required by law.

After termination, certain sections of these Terms will continue to apply, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute provisions.

NeuroCurve is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, accurate, or suitable for your specific needs.

We do not guarantee any particular outcome, habit change, health improvement, behavioral result, or personal result from using NeuroCurve.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NeuroCurve and its owners, employees, contractors, partners, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages arising from your use of the Service.

This includes, but is not limited to, loss of data, loss of profits, emotional distress, personal decisions, health-related outcomes, or reliance on app content or AI-generated responses.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless NeuroCurve and its owners, employees, contractors, partners, and affiliates from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes will be handled in the appropriate courts located in Pennsylvania, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date.

Your continued use of NeuroCurve after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
